The silage pusher is primarily designed for silage management, and is generally not suitable for other tasks. however the Supermount system it uses can be teamed with other Quad-X attachments for a range of other applications. eg snow plough, yard scraper, power sweeper, dozer blade, front bucket.
The silage blade can be used to clear a passageway where small amounts of silage have been left after feeding. However the blade cannot push the leftover feed in continuously along the passageway but will hold the material on the blade until more silage accumulates and then dispense it. Whereas the silage pusher can better disperse the leftover silage along the length of the passageway for animals to eat, but cannot be used to push the material to the other end of the passageway.
